Just A Speck

When you look at the midnight sky at the billions upon billions of sparkling stars and a moon full and bright, does it make you wonder about how great and wonderous this universe really is? Does it bring to mind how small in comparison is this tiny speck called earth? Does it make you think about how short our time is on this tiny speck called Earth in comparison to the eternity of space? We are each just a speck on a tiny speck in an endless sea called the universe.
Yet it is not the Rings of Saturn, or Milky Way, it is not the Helix Nebula, or the Egale Nebula, it is not the Orion Nebula or Andromeda Galaxy that is the most special of all the endless wonders this universe has to offer. No it is none of these, it is that tiny speck called Earth that stands alone as the most special place in this universe.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
It is the world, that tiny speck called earth that God loved so much that He gave His Son for. There is no other place in this universe God has done this for. Even more amazing than that is the fact that it is those specks called humans on that tiny speck called Earth that Jesus died for.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
We are each just a speck on a tiny speck called Earth in an endless sea called the universe. Yet God became flesh, and came to this tiny speck called earth and died for us tiny specks on that tiny speck called earth that we may have eternal life through Him. What an amazing thing to do for just a tiny living speck called man.
When you look at the midnight sky at the billions upon billions of sparkling stars, does it make you wonder about how great and wondrous a God we have? Does it make you wonder how God watches this tiny speck called earth more than any other wonder in this endless sea called the universe? Does it make you wonder how God so loved a sinner, just a speck such as you and I that He died so that we may live? WOW! That speck of a thought amazes me.
This is just a tiny speck of a thought from just one of many tiny specks called humans on a tiny speck called Earth traveling around a tiny speck called the sun in an endless sea called the universe.

Awesome article considering our creator thinks so highly of us when so much more is out there in this universe. What is even more amazing is that God was going to wipe out the entire world at one point! Not only man but all the creatures He created, even the insects. Why didn't He? Because He found favor with Noah we all live today! God could have wiped out the earth and all in it and start afresh but He chose to continue on with His original plan. Why do we deserve so much attention from our God? Why don't we show appreciation to God for all His love towards us? And why would the animals, fish, birds and insects have to pay the price of extinction because man sinned so greatly against God that He almost wiped out His creation?
