The Hope For Rochester Ministry Offers a wide range of services for churches, ministries and individuals. We are an outreach ministry dedicated to serving Rochester and surrounding areas.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8
We at Hope For Rochester believe that as Christians we should begin in our own backyard in reaching the lost for Christ. Rochester is our Jersusalem and that is where our main out reach focus is at. This verse doesn't stop at Jerusalem however, and neither does our outreach at Hope For Rochester Ministry.
We are told in this verse to witness first in Rochester our Jerusalem, then in all of Judaea. At Hope For Rochester we look at New York State as our Judaea. Both Mike and myself have been involved in ministries throughout New York State. In fact I have been to New York City to street preach, to do some witnessing, pass out tracts and to help out different churches down there many many times.
This verse doesn't tell us to stop there either. We look at the United States as our Samaria, and again Mike, Valerie and myself have been involved in outreach in some other States as well as New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Virginia, New Hampshire, California and Florida to name a few. We also hope that through the use of the internet and this web site that we may also reach out even further into our United States and if the Lord wills even to the uttermost parts of the world.
